HORSE

Origami Horse designed and folded by me from a square of single tissue paper treated with mc.

Shuki Kato invented the concept of a grid slanted by 1:3 with his original Giganotosaurus and has since designed many models with this technique. After folding his many designs, I was inspired to create my own model based on a slanted grid which was much more challenging than I expected. I settled on a horse because it was a model that I had been meaning to create for a while and a slanted grid seemed like a good method of achieving it.

Although this model only has just over 200 steps, I think it is the most complex model I have designed.
