TURTLE 2.0

Origami Turtle designed and folded by me from a 50x50cm square of biotope shaped with mc.

This is my second attempt at a turtle design, the first being based on diagonal symmetry and 22.5 degree folding (instructions for my first turtle design are available in the Diagrams section).

This time I started by coming up with a shell pattern tesselation. I tried different shapes - long, thin, wide etc and settled on the current design. When I had the shell pattern sorted I moved on to the rest of the body and finalised the design on Christmas Day 2017.

The design is based on a 52x52 grid
